Tina's Birthday

There's only 7 mins left before my birthday is over. This year I thought nothing spetacular would happen, but in fact I had a great day today. Can you believe this, I did take a day off just for the bday reason. This is like the only MY day in a year, a day to celebrate MY birth to my life, so I should serve myself right and be honest to myself. MY day should go with MY way.

So I flirted with an internet chatmate till 2am and slept till 11am. I took 2 hrs working on office email at home, and went out to catch a movie called 'Hitch' by Will Smith, for compensating me not going to cinema for movies for ages. Then in the evening I met my coworkers in KTV and we sang hard and had lots of fun till 11pm. Genie and Jason came over with a big bunch of flowers and gift and hugs and a full heart of happiness for me. Then when I wailked on the way back home an old friend who I haven't seen for almost a year surprised me with a call for bday greetings. We had an hour wonderful chat and also arranged some time to meet up for more conversations.

All in all this day ended up with full of great friendship and a good rest for me. It's again another unforgettable birthday in my life.

Thank you all my lovely friends!

Oh by the way, mom is going to celebrate for me another day, and I've decided to get a good camera mobile phone for myself. Hehe... 2 more good things are coming and I can't wait!:)

I can't believe I just came back for a week. Hm.. let's see what has happened in this week. Well... Working like a dog, but am kinda enjoying in it. Got not only a lot of followup stuff, but also a big order which is worth US$240K. Playing bargaining game with suppliers, and meanwhile ceasing every min to get all communication and pre-work done in time. Trouble and requests came up every hour every day, but in the process it just gave us a lot of laughs and jokes and challenge and cheers and learnings. The supportive team has always given me the most strengh to go on battles, and in private they also play roles of good fun partners to me. So even tho a lot of friends questioned my job and complained for me, I still feel the life this moment is good to me.

My birthday is coming next week but I haven't thought of any plans. This is the first time I didn't plan for it since the new year came. Maybe I should take a day off and go for all of those places where has free bday gift or bday discounts. Hehe... sounds a good idea! What do you think?:)

Today we bumped into a bear, camel carriages, a flock of sheeps, goats, and antelopes...

In India Again...

I found something interesting in India today, that you can always meet animals which you think they're supposed to be seen in zoos or farms or forests in the city around you here. Not to mention those long neck long leg dogs and street cows sitting on the medians, sometimes you can also see black pigs and groups of monkeys on the sidewalk. The other night our car passed by a guy riding an elephant, then today a couple of donkeys running toward our way. Pull up the curtain there's an eagle hovering outside your window, and when you get into the exhibition hall you see crows fly around under the ceilings.

It's a really awkward scene that those animals appear along with modern cars/ buses/ people with suits on asphalt roads or in modern buildings in a capital city. I kinda start to expect the next surprise here. When a cow standing in the middle of car lane starring at you, what would you think?
