[Australia Trip] Day 1 (Jan 20)-- HK airport
Hey,
hehe... finally i found the free internet you were talking about... it's so cool!! the HK airport is sooooo cool too!! i got 1 hr to hover around in this 'small city' so i can drop you some lines. well, altho i've been to this airport before but didn't really have time to check out all of its facilities. i even didn't know they have free internet service. so i guess your time 'living' in HK airport is not that bad eh? the couches are in human body shape which seem comfy and soft and big enough to strech your legs. the shops open for every min till late night and you can get whatever you want. the free internet service keeps your contact to friends and families (it's be even better if there's a chair or something to sit on...). the toilets are clean and all over the place. the aircon keeps you warm. so can you complain? haha... just teasing you. anyway... my flight was ok... the food on cathay airline sucked but i watched a HK cartoon "McDull" which is pretty impressive. McDull is the name of a little piggy and he's so CUTE with one black eye on his big face! his mom has no money to take him abroad as his mates always do, so alternatively she took him to take the cable train to the top of the mountain in HK as if they flew to Maldive. hehe.... funny me... write you about the cartoon i watched on the plane. now you can see how bored i'm here on my own. (well.. i'm not as brave as you who goes to talk to strangers all the time....)
so i told you i forgot to pack my hair brush, facial cleansing, and contact lens case and i felt so disappointed to myself. then i accidentally found a convenient store in CKS airport so i got them all expect for the case for contact. the location of the store is so weird that in a corner of a cargo loading area. but i'm glad i found it.
i guess i have to go in case i stick on this internet access forever. i'll write to you soon and hope you're having a great time in southern taiwan!
Tina
