Valentine's Day
She would like to record this, as it was the best valentine's she's ever had.
several days before valentine's, he sent her an message to ask her to keep the valentine saturday free, as he had made plans for both of them. She was waiting and waiting and waiting for the night's coming, and eager to know what the surprise he was going to give her, a romantic dinner? a special gift? a special place he just discovered? or a special thing he was going to do to her?......
then they met. he didn't tell her where to go so she could only follow his paces. they passed by the department store, the 5-star hotel, the cram school area, the resturants, the fashion shops, accrossing several streets and traffic lights, entering into a park, walking by a pavilion, a fountain, a huge statue, several gardens, stepping onto the grass, then finally he stopped. the grass. that was the place he was going to show her the suprise.
then he started to take something out one by one from his backpack. just like dolaemon's magic packet, he took out a travel blanket then spreading it out on the grass, a bottle of white wine, a opener, and 2 plastic glasses. he opened up the wine, pouring into the glasses, handing one to her, with a full smile softly saying: 'happy valentine's!' after the first sip he asked her to close the eyes. she followed his words shutting them tightly and wondered what the next surprise was... when she got the instruction of opening the eyes, the dark night had been brightened by a couple of candle lights. the wax was melting in the flames and so was her heart. the flames swung in the breeze and her mind swung in his smiles. the night was warm but she sensed she was shivering. her brain was blanked her throat was dried out her world was spining. she didn't know what to say but only a thanks. she didn't know how to react but only gazing at him smiling back to him.
she wasn't sure that night if it was the alcohol dizzing her or his passionate kisses. she wondered if everything was in real or just a dream. she started to worry if he would disappear in the air the next minute...
so that's her valentine's day. did the prince and princess live happily ever after? well... we all know the most popular romantic movies would never have happy endings.....................................
