PingXi Rail Trip

This is our first trip after going thru those awkward days. I know it might not be a good idea to bring up such a proposal but when I feel like having a little travelling I'd still go for him. After all he's the best travel partner to me so far. Anyway this time we chose Ping Xi rail trip as our getaway, where I haven't visited for over 5 years.

My plan actually was starting from the last stop and if possible we can walk back thru the railway and stop by each spot for a visit. So we dropped off at JingTung, where was once prosperous for its rich coal mine and the industry back to 50 years ago. Tracing up along the brick steps, it leads you to the ruins of old mining company offices, warehouse, engine room, and the mine tunnel. The whole hill is also being developed by these brick steps, which take you to the top end and also circle around the hill. As we were getting approaching the top the steps got more muddy and messy, and also on the way a huge snake popped up on the side and scared me away, so we chose to walk back and were not able to see what's there on the top end.

The ruins are very interesting. There're signs in front of each house describing the old time, which makes you imagine you were there lining in the queue waiting for distributing the wages, or driving the trolley sending the coal into the warehouse, or smoking a cigarette under the eaves waiting for the rain stopping. Along the old railway we reached to another warehouse, which now has been covered by root branches of trees on the walls, and people call it "tree house". It's very scary but also amazing, that the trees seem to grow up on the top of the walls and the roots are like crawling down toward the ground along the walls. In fact what scares me is, among 5 ruins only this house is grew trees like this.

We meant to go to the waterfall in Shi-fen after the mine exploring, while it started to get dark and spit. So we decided to go home early. On the way back home, we transitted the train in Rei-Fan town, where we stopped by for a bus up to Jo-fen in our first trip when we just met. Accidentally we were back to where we started. Just like what happened to our relationship. Accidentally we seemed to start everything all over again. On the platform I finally could't help but throwing myself into his chest and arms. I smelled that familiar scent. And luckily I got hugged back and a kiss on my head. I smiled unconsciously in his warming embrace.

This is our first trip after we decided to start over in a different way. I know it might be my illusion but I feel we're getting closer and closer. And I feel my love to you has also entered into another stage.
