7-11 New Giveaway

Taiwan 7-11 has had this successful marketing trick for many years, that you buy stuff over certain amount of money then you get a small giveaway. Most of time it's hello kitty stuff, but sometimes they also do big head dogs, Do-la-e-mon, winnie-the-pooh, snoopy, mickey mouse & disney... those popular cartoon figures. Hello Kitty animated magnets went around earlier and for much longer than do-la-e-mon magnets. Winnie-the-pooh magnetic bookmark came after do-la-e-mon, but it seemed not to do well so only being there for a few weeks. Surprisingly after pooh bookmark 7-11 got quiet down for quite a while.

Then today you see their commercial of new giveaway again. It's a card holder, with animated travel snoopy on each piece, and the background is each of the county in taiwan along with 7-11's specials. Every NT$77 expense you get one as usual, but the quality, the utility, and the size are much better than those crappy pink cat or blue cat magnets. Yet i kept wondering how snoopy travels around taiwan? His creator daddy has gone to heaven already no?

For those who haven't seen the series yet, here are the pictures of one... it's actually only one piece but since snoopy is moving we need to get 2 photos of it. Also moving snoopy is quite hard to be captured so it took us quite a long time to keep him staying at one place. Well, what can we say... he's just a dog afterall!
